Laura Barr leads CBRE’s retail business across the Americas, where she is responsible for CBRE’s Retail growth strategy and client delivery across its platform and 500 professionals. Prior to leading CBRE’s Retail business, Laura led a San Francisco-based Retail team with a keen eye on real estate strategies that drew from her passion for urban planning and consumer trends. Laura is an established thought leader and advisor to CBRE’s clients and consistently leads her team to deliver innovative solutions for an extensive list of top tier investors and occupiers. Laura was the inaugural winner of CBRE’s prestigious Darla Longo Award, which recognizes the best and brightest producers in the organization. She has served in numerous leadership positions, including serving on the Board of Trustees for ICSC; sitting on CBRE’s Americas Producer Advisory Board; and co- chairing the Futures Committee, which produced compelling research on the impact of autonomous vehicles. Laura is also involved in many charitable and community organizations, including La Cocina, a highly- regarded incubator for food businesses in the Bay Area, where she serves as a board member. She also serves on the advisory board of Health Hospitality Partners, an innovative real estate development and operating company focused on healthcare, and on the board of directors for Onsights, an AI-based, computer vision retail intelligence company focused on e-commerce analytics and insights for brick-and- mortar retailers.

With deep expertise in property technology and operational strategy, Ryan is known for building high-performing teams and driving innovation in commercial real estate operations. A committed industry leader, he also invests in the next generation of professionals—serving as a mentor through ICSC’s Next Gen program and teaching real estate investment strategies to MBA students at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Meredith Keeler, Vice President of Lifestyle Operations at Kimco Realty, leads the strategic direction and management of the company's lifestyle centers. Before joining Kimco, Meredith was Senior Vice President at Related Companies, where she oversaw operations and asset management for iconic, flagship assets such as Hudson Yards and The Shops at Columbus Circle. In this role, she was responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing tenant relationships, and implementing innovative retail strategies that significantly boosted the performance and prestige of these properties. With over twenty years of experience in retail environments and customer experience curation, she began her career at General Growth Properties and Taubman Co.

Paul Kurzawa

Paul is a real estate executive with over 25 years of open-air, lifestyle, and enclosed mall real estate experience. Throughout his industry tenure, he has worked for some of the most distinguished global real estate and entertainment companies in the world including The Blackstone Group, Equity Office Properties, DreamWorks Animation, Westfield Corporation, and Caruso. Most recently, Paul served as Chief Operating Officer for CenterCal Properties where he was responsible for the oversight and leadership of the entire operating company and was responsible for the launch of its third-party advisory business. Paul’s most notable accomplishments include launching a $660 million redevelopment and repositioning project for Willis Tower in Chicago, the largest redevelopment project undertaken by The Blackstone Group anywhere in the world and the development of 8500 Burton Way and The Americana at Brand; both mixed-use developments located in Los Angeles. He held leadership roles in the redevelopment of Westfield Century City and Westfield Valley Fair and oversaw the executive management of Westfield’s west coast operations. Paul also pioneered a multimillion-dollar retail development and entertainment business for DreamWorks, launching two first-of-its-kind location-based entertainment concepts specifically developed to embrace and enhance the changing retail environment.

Whitney Livingston

Whitney has served in leadership roles at Centennial and Madison Marquette and has a proven track record of building, motivating and leading teams to achieve property and corporate strategic plans. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Psychology from Wesleyan University, NE. Whitney is passionate about mentoring the next generation of industry professionals and has served as an ICSC Trustee. She was named as a Woman of Influence by GlobeSt. in 2023 and appeared on their 50 Under 40 list in 2022.

Braden Lyons

Braden joined Slate in 2019. He is responsible for the asset management of Slate Grocery REIT and Slate’s investment strategy focused on essential real estate assets in North America, including managing relationships with joint-venture partners, supervision of third-party property management and leasing professionals, preparation of annual operating budgets, and approval and execution of capital spending and leasing programs. He previously managed investor relations for both of Slate’s publicly-listed REITs. Prior to joining Slate, Braden was on the real estate investment banking team at Scotiabank. He holds an Honors Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Tom was appointed ICSC President and CEO in September 2015. As the voice of the Marketplaces Industry, Tom is the leading expert on the marketplaces and spaces where people shop, dine, work, play and gather as foundational and vital ingredients of communities and economies. The majority of the nearly $6 trillion of U.S. consumer activity generated in 2022 by the retail, food-and-beverage, entertainment and consumer service industries occurs within America’s marketplaces, representing approximately 1 out of 4 American jobs. Prior to joining ICSC, Tom served as Vice Chairman of Deloitte, LLP, the largest professional services firm in the United States.

A longtime ICSC member, he focuses on consumer engagement, data-driven decision- making, and experiential programming across the portfolio.

Jack Sibley

Jack is Head of PropTech and Innovation at Related Argent and is predominantly focused on the King’s Cross estate, the UK’s most successful large-scale regeneration project, which now welcomes 19 million visitors each year and is home to world-renowned brands such as Meta, Google and AstraZeneca. Jack works closely across the business to drive a culture of innovation and intensive adoption of PropTech. His role is dedicated to engaging with the PropTech ecosystem, running start-up pilots and scaling out high impact technologies. Jack previously led innovation at Nuveen Real Estate, one of the world’s largest real estate investment managers, including venture capital, PropTech strategy and portfolio implementation. He also spent two years as Head of Partnerships at Insurami, a Seed stage PropFintech start-up. Jack holds a BA (Hons) in Land Economy from Robinson College, University of Cambridge.

Sandy Sigal

Sandy Sigal is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles and has been an entrepreneur in the real estate industry for almost 40 years. In 1997, Mr. Sigal founded and currently serves as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of NewMark Merrill Companies, which has grown to be one of the fastest growing privately held developers and owners of shopping centers in California, Colorado, and Illinois. He is also Chairman of BrightStreet Ventures, a company he co-founded to provide more opportunities to his tenants and other owners of centers by integrating on-line and social platforms with traditional brick and mortar businesses. Mr. Sigal’s first career started at the age of 12 as a programmer and software developer for personal computers in their infancy, learning accounting and project management while computerizing different businesses. Mr. Sigal started his career in real estate at the age of 20 by joining West Venture Companies, a Southern California-based homebuilder, first to computerize their business processes. While there he founded West Venture Commercial, the commercial retail division, where he built or redeveloped over 25 shopping centers as well as oversaw their management. In 1993, Mr. Sigal was promoted to President and CEO of the parent company giving him responsibility for the land acquisition, development and sale of over 700 homes, and oversight of the commercial and mortgage divisions. In 1997, Mr. Sigal left West Venture and co-founded NewMark Merrill Companies, at which time he purchased the West Venture retail assets, including 15 retail centers and 4 development projects.

Helane Stein

Helane has served in her current role since July 2024, when she was named Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer. She served as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer since joining Brixmor Property Group in July 2015. Her team is responsible for defining and executing the technology vision and strategy, ensuring robust systems and agile and secure infrastructure to support and enhance business operations. “Information technology is integral to every part of the business. Because business decisions have become more collaborative, an understanding of business fundamentals is a critical prerequisite to creating solutions and technological enhancements that drive organizational efficiency, increase productivity, enhance collaboration and deliver results.” Prior to Brixmor, Helane served as Vice President of Information Technology for Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT), and she has served in multiple management, senior consultant and programming positions at the healthcare technology division of Siemens.

Jameson Valone

Jameson Valone, AVP, Marketing, Macerich Jameson leads digital marketing for Macerich, overseeing a multidisciplinary team that manages all web, email, social, SMS, paid media and reputation management platforms. He is also a product leader for Quikspace, a proprietary platform to browse and lease commercial space online. Prior to this, he was head of marketing for BrandBox, a solution enabling direct- to-consumer brands to open physical retail stores. He holds an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in advertising from Pepperdine.

Katelyn Wloszek

As the Vice President of Customer Experience and Property Management, Katelyn is responsible for implementing best practices, leading cross-functional projects, and ensuring the user adoption and continuous improvement of PECO's Tenant Communication tool. With over ten years of experience at PECO, Katelyn is dedicated to enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency across the organization.
