Ali is widely recognized for resolving complex financial structures, particularly in distressed assets and evolving market environments. His leadership includes reworking leases, executing hold-sell analyses, and driving critical allocation decisions through in-depth performance review and exposure management. He combines strategic acumen with technical strength in data analytics, portfolio modeling, and reporting systems. Prior to GIC, Ali was a Senior Director at EY, where he advised Fortune 500 companies and institutional investors on capital markets, acquisitions, divestments, restructuring, valuations, and digital transformation strategy.
