William Sankey

William Sankey is a former New York City real estate developer who founded Northspyre after spending years overseeing projects for prominent firms such as Madison Realty Capital, Macklowe Properties and Jones Lang LaSalle. It was during his time as project manager that William grappled with the inefficient, outdated methods utilized across the industry to manage billions in capital for transformative, complex real estate developments. Having studied architecture at Yale University and urban planning and real estate development at Harvard University, William has always had an interest in the way we build our cities, whether it was through design or innovative technologies. With his unique background, William noticed that the commercial real estate sector was falling far behind other high-skilled industries and needed to catch up. He envisioned software tailor-made for owners, developers and project management firms that harnessed the power of data to help professionals make faster, more informed decisions. This was the very start of Northspyre, which took shape after William completed his Fullstack Development Nanodegree at Udacity and partnered with Co-founder and tech veteran, Mark McCorkle, to develop the first prototype. Northspyre formally launched in 2017, raised a $7.5 million Series A round in May 2020 and most recently, raised a $25 Million Series B round in February 2022. When he isn’t leading his team at Northspyre, William enjoys playing the piano, cheering on the New York Knicks, indulging in a very good slice of pizza and traveling out of Atlanta with his wife, Susan.

Raj is the managing partner of JLL Spark Global Ventures, the corporate venture capital group of JLL, focused on strategic PropTech investments. Previously, he was interim co-head/managing director of investments at JetBlue Technology Ventures, the corporate VC of JetBlue Airways. Prior to that, Raj served as CEO and co-founder of London-based Sooqini, an on-demand economy task delegator for small businesses. Before that, Raj co-founded and led a Geneva-based consulting firm and worked with various governments to foster entrepreneurship. As a general partner and co-founder of Pervasive Technology Ventures—and also as a principal for the New York-based VC arm of Investcorp—he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing new investments in tech startups. At Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy&), Raj led strategy and technology projects in ecommerce; technology, media, and telecommunications; and financial services. He also held multiple positions at IBM at the start of his career.

Stephanie’s career began in hospitality in London, shortly after completing her MBA in her native France, at NEOMA Business School. Her time at French hotelier Accor eventually led her to Chicago, where she oversaw all aspects of marketing and communication for the opening of Accor’s premier flag, the Sofitel, in Chicago. Stephanie later headed up marketing for all of Accor’s Sofitel- and Novotel-branded hotels throughout North America. More recently, Stephanie’s career brought her to lead the centralized marketing and leasing team at Veritas Investments, one of the West Coast's premier multifamily operators with 8,000 units and 300+ buildings.
